Ardagh Glass Packaging launches its lightest glass wine bottle at just 300g

Ardagh Glass Packaging-Europe (AGP-Europe), an operating business of Ardagh Group, announced today that it has launched a new 300g lightweight glass wine bottle, combining ultra-lightweight design with high strength and premium shelf appeal.

As the wine industry faces increasing pressure to reduce its environmental impact, this bottle delivers on three critical fronts: material reduction, structural performance, and brand presentation. The 300g 75cl bottle – ideal for still wines – is engineered to perform on high-speed filling lines, withstand supply chain handling, and maintain the visual appeal expected of glass packaging, all while delivering a significant reduction in bottle weight.
