Gold Rating awarded to Ardagh Group by EcoVadis for sustainability performance

Ardagh Group is delighted to have been awarded a gold-level certification by EcoVadis for the fourth consecutive year. EcoVadis is a sustainability rating platform, founded in 2007, which assesses the sustainability policies, actions and reporting of suppliers across 95 countries in the categories of environment, labour practices, fair business practices and sustainable procurement. The assessments conducted by EcoVadis help companies to better understand the sustainability performance of their suppliers. Ardagh was awarded the highest level of recognition, which is only achieved by the top 3% of companies assessed in the respective industry.

Annelene Ikemann, Ardagh Group CSR & Sustainability Manager said: “We are pleased with our gold-level standard which proves that Ardagh is a key sustainable supplier for our customers and partners. Maintaining our gold level rating yet again reflects our continuous commitment towards sustainability. We are proud of our industry-leading performance which is based on support from multiple functions such as Legal, HR, H&S and Procurement.”
