Another Ecovadis Gold for Ardagh Group

Ardagh Group is delighted to have been awarded a gold level certification by EcoVadis for the third consecutive year. EcoVadis is a third-party rating platform for social, ethical and environmental performance. The rating is based on a comprehensive assessment covering four different areas:

  • Environment
  • Labour Practices
  • Fair Business Practices
  • Sustainable Procurement

Both the Group’s Metal and Glass divisions were awarded the highest level of recognition, which is only achieved by the top 5% of companies assessed.

Annelene Fisser, Ardagh Group CSR & Sustainability Manager said: “The demand for performance evaluations like EcoVadis is constantly increasing, as is the reporting required for the evaluation. The increase in our environmental score reflects our continuing commitment towards environmental sustainability and we are proud of our industry-leading performance.”
